a few more of our littlest one, taken when she was 18 days old.

i am having such a good time photographing our little one. this newborn stage passes so quickly, i feel fortunate to be able to capture some of it through pictures.  here are just a few for now.

after quite an extended stay in the US, we finally returned to China this week.  aside from settling back into life here, i now have about 3 months worth of photo editing to catch up on.  hopefully some of those images will eventually reach this blog as well.

but i couldn’t resist putting up a quick post of this lovely newborn i photographed the day before we left michigan.
at just three days old here, meet my brand new niece, serena.  =)  true to her name, she was so serene.
born exactly on her due date, this sweet girl arrived just in time for us to meet her… and to get home from the hospital for some fun newborn shots, of course.  she is our girls’ first cousin, and i just know they’ll have so much girly fun together as they grow up.

i had the privilege of spending an afternoon with baby Theo and his family.  more to come soon…

being a sucker for nice packaging and materials, it made the whole thing that much, well, nicer.    (anyone else make purchases just because of it’s nice packaging?)

speaking of bundles and packages… wanted to use this post to also share that we are currently in the midst of packing up our home.  (!!)  having lived here just under a year, we are getting ready to move to a different city within China due to my husband’s work.  so in some ways, we’re starting all over again after just starting to feel more settled in in our current home.  this move came as a total surprise to us and came up just 2 weeks after kaylah was born.  needless to say, it’s been a bit crazy around here (thus also the relative quietness of this blog).  but we’re trusting good things will come out of the move and in this next adventure.
